The death he died, he died to sin once for all but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ. Romans 6:10-11
The wages of sin is death. Jesus took our place and died for our sins once and for all. As far as sin is concerned, He is dead and we are dead too! This is called Inclusion! He died our death, so technically, we “died”. He rose from the dead, symbolizing our new life – free from the wages of sin (death), condemnation, and guilt! Officially, the issue of “sin and death” is closed in Christ!
